African Legal Support Facility appoints two new management board members
The African Legal Support Facility (the ALSF), is pleased to announce the appointment of Christine Anyango Agimba and Ambassador Arve Ofstad to its management board.
The two new members bring a wealth of experience in international policy, international trade, judicial reform and economic development.

Dissecting Africa’s Covid-19 response in the extractives sector: diversification, enhancing local content, offer solutions
The African Development Bank’s African Natural Resources Centre (ANRC) and the African Legal Support Facility (ALSF) hosted a dialogue on responses by governments and the industry to the COVID-19 pandemic in the extractive sector, focusing on South Africa, Ghana, Nigeria, and Kenya.
The session, held 21 October and moderated by ALSF Director Stephen Karingizi, brought together policymakers and stakeholders to evaluate the effectiveness and sustainability of these measures in focal countries.
African Development Bank project enhances scholarship and research capacity in African countries and regional institutions
Through funding from the African Development Fund’s (ADF) Regional Public Goods window, a training and research capacity building programme has awarded 90 Master’s and five PhD scholarships to strengthen capacity for inclusive and green growth policy formulation in Africa.
