Appui budgétaire de 7, 44 millions de dollars au Cap-Vert pour la lutte contre la pauvreté
Tunis, le 22 décembre 2008 - Le Conseil d’administration du Groupe de la Banque africaine de développement (BAD) a approuvé un prêt d’appui budgétaire de 5 millions d’unités de compte (UC*), soit 7,44 millions de dollars en faveur du Gouvernement du Cap-Vert, pour financer le programme d’appui à la stratégie de réduction de la pauvreté II.
Higher Education Support Project in WAEMU (UEMOA) Countries
Tunis, July 24, 2006 – The Board of Directors of the African Development Fund (ADF) today approved a grant of 20 million Units of Account (UC*), equivalent to US$ 29.58 million to finance a higher education support project in West African Economic and Monetary Union (WAEMU) countries.
The project is in line with the WAEMU Regional Economic Program (Programme économique regional - PER), whose fourth strategic pillar is human resources development through the higher education systems of member countries.

Madagascar: US$ 52 Million Poverty Reduction Support
Tunis, 24 July, 2006 – In response to the political and economic stability prevailing in Madagascar, the African Development Bank Group has decided to provide a budget support loan to the country to help the government implement its reform programme.
The 35 million Units of Account loan (US$ 52 million or 113 billion ariary) approved by the Board of Directors of the African Development Fund on Monday in Tunis, will help in the implementation of the updated Malagasy Poverty Reduction Strategy covering the 2006-2007 period.
