US$ 37 million AfDB Loan in Support of Technical, Industrial, Vocational and Entrepreneurship Training in Kenya
Tunis, 27 November 2008 - The African Development Bank (AfDB) Group Board of Directors has approved a 25 million Units of Account* (equivalent to US$ 37.2 million) loan to Kenya to help finance a Technical, Industrial, Vocational and Entrepreneurship Training (TIVET) Project in the country.

Tunis, 24 July 2006 – The Board of Directors of the African Development Fund (ADF), the concessional window of the African Development Bank (AfDB) Group, has approved a loan and a grant totaling 15 million Units of Account (UA*), equivalent to US$ 22.19 million to finance the Second Poverty Reduction Strategy Support Programme (PRSSP II) in Benin.
US$ 150 million Grant for the Burundi-Rwanda Road Project
Tunis, December 16, 2008 – The African Development Bank (AfDB) Group Board of Directors approved an African Development Fund (ADF) grant of 100 million Unit of Account (UA*), equivalent to US$ 150 million, to Burundi and Rwanda for financing the Nyamitanga-Ruhwa- Ntendezi -Mwityazo Road Project.
Uganda: US$ 78 million ADF Loan for an Electricity Transmission Project
Tunis, 16 December 2008 – The African Development Bank (AfDB) Group has approved an African Development Fund (ADF) loan of UA 52.51 million, equivalent to US$ 78.13 million, to finance a key electricity project in Uganda.
