Nigeria - ADF Approves US$ 32.48 million Loan for Food Security Programme
Tunis, 18 October 2006 – The Board of Directors of the African Development Fund (ADF), the concessional window of the African Development Bank (AfDB) Group, on Wednesday in Tunis, approved a loan of 22 million Units of Account (UA*), equivalent to US$ 32.48 million to support the National Programme for Food Security (NPFS) in three states in Nigeria: Ekiti, Ondo and Cross River.

Liberia: US$ 4.4 Million ADF Grant in Support of Governance, and Poverty Reduction
Tunis, 27 October 2006 – The Board of Directors of the African Development Fund (ADF) approved on Friday in Tunis, a grant of 3 million Units of Account (UA*), equivalent to US$ 4.4 million to finance good governance, economic management and poverty reduction in Liberia.
AfDB and Chad Sign Grant Agreements
AfDB Vice President, Kamal El Kheshen, and the Chadian Agriculture Minister, Mbailou Naimbaye Lossimian, on Thursday, September 11, 2009, signed two Fragile States Facility grant agreements.
The first grant of UA 450,215.71, equivalent to US$ 706,839, will finance capacity building initiatives in the human resources and training department of the Chadian health ministry.
