Le Groupe de la BAD approuve un prêt de 97 millions de dollars pour un programme d’appui budgétaire à Madagascar

Tunis, le 2 juillet 2008 –  Le conseil d’administration du Fonds africain de développement (FAD) a approuvé, mercredi à Tunis, l’octroi d’un prêt de 97 millions de dollars US (60 millions d’unités de compte) au gouvernement de Madagascar pour financer le Programme d’appui budgétaire à la réduction de la pauvreté phase II (PABRP-II).

Burkina Faso: US$ 3.6 billion in support of Public Expenditure Programming and Control Institutions

Tunis, 27 October 2006 – The African Development Fund (ADF) will provide support to Burkina Faso in its efforts to strengthen budget management with a view to helping reduce poverty by improving transparency, reliability and efficiency of budget management.

The Board of Directors of the ADF approved today in Tunis a grant of 2.46 million Units of Account (US$ 3.6 billion or CFA 1.9 billion) to finance a project in support of public expenditure programming and control institutions.

Water Development-AfDB Signs Grant Agreement with Guinea Bissau

Guinea Bissau, May 16th, 2009 - The Bank Group’s Vice President for Infrastructure was in Guinea Bissau on Saturday, May 16th, 2009, for the signing ceremony of the Grant Agreement with the Executive Secretariat of the Gambia River Basin Organization (OMVG). The Grant will finance the integrated water resources management development project for the Kayanga-Geba basin in Senegal, Guinea and Guinea Bissau.

ADF, Liptako-Gourma Authority Sign Grant Agreement: Improve economic integration in Western Africa

The Institutional Support Project funded by the ADF will provide ALG, a regional cooperation organization including Burkina-Faso, Mali and Niger, with an energy and rural transport plan for the Liptako-Gourma Region which by the year 2006 will lead to a regional stock watering programme, a regional electrification programme and a rural road programme.
