Tunisia: AfDB Approves US$ 263 Million for Road Project
Tunis, 11 June 2008 – Efforts by the Tunisian government to provide the country with efficient transport infrastructure were highly commended on Wednesday in Tunis by the Board of Directors of the African Development Bank (AfDB) Group which approved a loan of 162.5 million Units of Account (UA*), equivalent to US 263.4 million (TND 307 million) to finance the Bank Group’s fifth Road Project in the country.
The Gambia: US$ 11.8 Million ADF Grant for Microfinance Development
Tunis, 15 November 2006 – The Board of Directors of the African Development Fund (ADF), the concessional window of the African Development Bank (AfDB) Group will support the development of micro enterprises in The Gambia following the approval on Wednesday in Tunis of a grant of 8 million Units of Account (UA*), equivalent to US$ 11.84 million, to finance an Entrepreneurship Promotion and Microfinance Development Project in the country.

Tunis, 11 June 2008 – Mali will benefit from a combined loan and grant of 32 million Units of Account (UA*), equivalent to US$ 52 million (FCFA 22 billions) to finance a drinking water supply and sanitation project in the Gao, Koulikoro and Segou regions of the country.
Mauritania: US$ 14.3 Million ADF Loan for Water and Sanitation Project
Tunis, 15 November 2006 – The Board of Directors of the African Development Fund (ADF), approved on Wednesday in Tunis, a loan of 9.70 million Units of Account (UA*), equivalent to US$ 14.35 million, to finance a Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Project in the southern parts of Mauritania.
