AfDB Group Approves over US $235 Million for five operations in Sierra Leone, Kenya, DRC and Rwanda
Tunis, 6 May 2009 – Executive Directors of the African Development Bank (AfDB) Group held their regular sessions on Wednesday in Tunis, where they approved over US$ 235 million to finance operations in Sierra Leone, Kenya, DRC, and Rwanda.
Sierra Leone - The Boards approved 10 million Units of Account (UA*), equivalent to US$ 15 million, from the AfDB/ADF grant under the Supplemental Support Window of the Fragile States Facility (FSF) to finance the country’s economic governance reform programme.

AfDB Supports Liberia’s Agriculture Sector Rehabilitation Project
Tunis, 29 April 2009 – Efforts by the Liberian government to improve the living conditions of the people received a big boost on Wednesday in Tunis, where the Boards of Directors of the African Development Fund (ADF), the concessionary window of the African Development Bank (AfDB) Group, approved a grant of 6.5 million Units of account (UA*), about US$ 9.7 million, to finance an agricultural rehabilitation project.

Tunis, 16 November 2005 – The Board of Directors of the African Development Fund approved a loan of 6.325 million Units of Account* (US$ 9 million or 19 billion ariary) to finance the Tuléar Fishing Communities Support Projec (PACP), South-West Madagascar.
Guinée : Le Groupe de La BAD soutient le projet de réaménagement de la route Tombo-Gbessia
Tunis, le 29 avril 2009 - Le Conseil d’administration du Fonds africain de développement, le guichet concessionnel du Groupe de la Banque africaine de développement (BAD) a approuvé l’octroi d’un don supplémentaire de 5,17 millions d’unités de comptes (UC), soit 7,7 millions de dollars, pour financer le projet de Réaménagement de la route Tombo-Gbessia en Guinée.
