The African Development Bank boost Copper Cobalt mining in DRC USD 100 million to the Tenke Fungurume Project
Tunis, 2 October 2007- The Board of Directors of the African Development Bank (ADB) approved a US $ 100 million senior loan under its private sector window to the Tenke Fungurume Copper and Cobalt Project in the DRC.
Mali - ADF Approves US$15 million for Decentralization and Economic Development Support Project
Tunis, 26 September 2007 - Mali will receive US$ 15.4 million from the African Development Fund (ADF), the concessional window of the African Development Bank (AfDB), following the approval of a loan of 5 million Units of Account (UA*), equivalent to US$ 7.4 million and a grant of the same amount by the Fund’s Board of Directors on Wednesday in Tunis. The funds will be used to finance a Decentralization and Regional Economic Development Support Project (PADDER) in the country.
ADF Supports Health Care Development in Burkina Faso
Tunis, 27 July 2005 – The Board of Directors of the African Development Fund (ADF), the concessional window of the African Development Bank (ADB) Group, approved today in Tunis a loan of 25 million Units of Account* (US$ 36 million) to finance the Health Care development support project– Centre-East and North Regions of Burkina Faso.
Burkina Faso: US$ 61 Million for Road Rehabilitation
Tunis, 11 February 2009 - The Board of Directors of the African Development Bank (AfDB) Group has approved a combined loan and grant of 41 million Units of Account (UA*) equivalent to US$ 61 million, to finance the rehabilitation of key roads in landlocked Burkina Faso.
The funding, which comprises a UA 10-million loan and a UA 31-million grant from the African Development Fund, the concessionary loan window of the Bank Group, will help in the rehabilitation of the Koupela–Bittou–Cinkanse–Togo Border road and the Mogande Access Road.
Tanzania: US$ 92 Million Loan for Road Project
Tunis, 17 September 2007 – The Board of Directors of the African Development Fund (ADF), the concessional window of the African Development Bank (AfDB) Group, on Monday in Tunis, approved a loan of 60 million Units of Account (UA*) equivalent to US$ 92 million, to finance the upgrading of a road network in central Tanzania.
