« Perspectives économiques en Afrique » - Un rapport désormais placé sous le signe d’un partenariat élargi entre plusieurs institutions de recherche africaines

Addis-Abeba, le 15 novembre 2007 – L’édition 2008 des Perspectives économiques en Afrique (African Economic Outlook) sera placée sous le sceau d’un partenariat élargi. Les Perspectives économiques en Afrique sont un rapport annuel jusque-là publié par la Banque africaine de développement et le Centre de développement de l'OCDE, qui fait une analyse comparative des perspectives économiques des pays africains.

Ghana will host ADB Group Country Office

This ceremony is "a crucial moment in the reinforcement of the cooperation relationships, already excellent, that link the Bank Group to Ghana", the ADB President said.

In the framework of the ADB’s decentralization policy, Ghana is part of a group of 25 countries which will shelter the field offices improving management and follow-up of the Bank projects and programmes and ensuring a better quality of assistance and dialogue to the member countries.

The African Development Bank Operations Evaluation Department (OPEV) Director, Mr. Colin Kirk and Chief Evaluation Officer Mr. Mohamed Manaï are attending a meeting hosted by the Inter American Bank of representatives from the evaluations departments of the multinational development banks. Major topics on the agenda include good practices in country evaluation, private sector evaluations, and evaluation Coordination and harmonization.
