The biannual meeting of the Evaluation Cooperation Group will be held from 21 to 24 April 2008 at the Sheraton Hotel- Tunis. It is also expected that ECG members will meet the Board Committee on Operations and Development effectiveness (CODE) on Thursday 24 April. The ECG Plenary will be held on Wednesday 23rd of April and will be preceded by meetings of the various ECG working Groups:

Canada and AfDB Group Launch New Technical Cooperation Fund to Finance Development Projects in Africa
The Government of Canada and the African Development Bank (AfDB) Group announce a new Technical Cooperation Arrangement under which Canada is providing Can.$5 million to a bilateral Fund for development projects financing in Africa, focusing on governance, regional economic integration, private sector development, environment and gender in line with the Bank’s focus areas. The newly approved Canadian Trust Fund, covering a period of 7 years, is completely untied.
BAD-Djibouti : Un don de 1,2 million de dollars pour financer un programme de réduction de la pauvreté urbaine
Le Groupe de la Banque africaine de développement (BAD) a approuvé le 1er février 2011 un don supplémentaire de 1,2 million de dollars en faveur de Djibouti à travers le guichet concessionnel du Fonds africain de développement (FAD), dans le cadre du financement du Programme de réduction de la pauvreté urbaine (PREPUD).
Ce don fait suite à celui déjà octroyé par le Fonds Africain de développement (FAD) en octobre 2008 d’un montant de 9 millions de dollars.
