AfDB President Akinwumi Adesina in Accra to share perspectives on agriculture, nutrition and African cities
African Development Bank (AfDB) President Akinwumi Adesina arrived on Tuesday, November 17 in Accra, Ghana, where he will share on November 18 the AfDB’s perspective on agriculture and nutrition at a “High-Level Roundtable on Agriculture and Food Systems for Nutrition”. The event is organized by Global Panel, an independent group of influential experts with a commitment to tackling global challenges in food and nutrition security. Adesina, a member of the Global Panel, will deliver a keynote address, as well as participate in group discussions.
ALSF legal advisors recognised as transportation and infrastructure team of the year
The African Legal Awards recognized Hogan Lovells as the Transportation and Infrastructure Team of the year for their role in advising the governments of Benin and Niger on the West African Railway Loop Project. Hogan Lovells’ role was facilitated by the African Legal Support Facility (ALSF) on the request of the governments of Benin and Niger.
Now in their third year, the awards, hosted by Legal Week in association with Corporate Lawyers Association of South Africa (CLASA), recognised exceptional achievement across the African Legal Sector on October 20, 2015.
