AfDB President to pay courtesy visit to International University of Grand Bassam

Following a visit of the International University of Grand Bassam (IUGB) to the African Development Bank on May 22, 2015, Donald Kaberuka, President of the African Development Bank, will pay a courtesy visit to the University on June 18 for a tour of the campus and discuss extension plans of the university. He will also meet with students and alumni to discuss their aspirations and career plans. The tour will be followed by a short reception for both faculty and staff.

Donald Kaberuka receives Special Valedictory Recognition for AfDB’s support to NEPAD

The African Development Bank Group President, Donald Kaberuka received a special Valedictory Recognition at the 33rd NEPAD* Heads of State and Government (HSGOC) orientation meeting on Saturday, 13 June 2015, at the Sandton Convention Centre in South Africa.

Presenting a commemorative plaque to Mr. Kaberuka, the NEPAD HSGOC Chair and President of Senegal, Macky Sall, recognized “the effective collaboration and constant support of Dr. Donald Kaberuka at the head of the African Development Group (AfDB) during the past ten years.”
