Prof. Keun Lee
Keun Lee is a Professor of Economics at the Seoul National University, and the founding Director of the Center for Economic Catch-up.
He has been awarded the 2014 Schumpeter Prize for his monograph Schumpeterian Analysis of Economic Catch-up: Knowledge, Path-creation and the Middle Income Trap (2013 Cambridge University Press).
He is now the President of the International Schumpeter Society, a member of the Committee for Development Policy of UN, an editor of Research Policy, a council member of the World Economic Forum, and a member of the governing board of Globelics.
He obtained is PhD. in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley, USA, and has had working experience at the World Bank, University of Aberdeen, Scotland, UK and the East-West Center, Hawaii,USA. One of his most-cited articles is a paper on Korea’s technological catch-up published in Research Policy, with 955 or so citations (Google Scholar).
His H-index is now 33, with 80 papers with more than 10 citations.
