EOI - Multinational - Development of a Livestock Strategy of the AfDB’s Livestock flagship - Technologies for African Agricultural Transformation (TAAT)
ILRI is implementing the Livestock Compact of the TAAT project (Technologies for African Agricultural Transformation), funded by AfDB. As part of its activities under TAAT, ILRI is supporting the development of a Livestock strategy of the AfDB’s Livestock flagship. This consultancy is in support of this activity.
The purpose of the assignment is to facilitate effective consultations of the Livestock Flagship Technical Working Group, ensure that the developed Flagship document aligns with AfDB’s operations process, and effectively coordinate collaborators contributions and drafting and editing of quality outputs.
ILRI works to improve food and nutritional security and reduce poverty in developing countries through research for efficient, safe and sustainable use of livestock. It is the only one of 15 CGIAR research centers dedicated entirely to animal agriculture research for the developing world. Co-hosted by Kenya and Ethiopia, it has regional or country offices and projects in East, South and Southeast Asia as well as Central, East, Southern and West Africa. www.ilri.org
