La BAD et la SFI organisent la conférence des banques multilatérales de développement sur l’intégrité du secteur privé

The African Development Bank (AfDB) and the International finance corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group, will host the 3rd Multilateral Development Banks’ Conference on Private Sector Integrity from 10 to 12 May, 2012, at the Movenpick Hotel, Gammarth, in Tunis, Tunisia.

The conference will focus on operational elements of Multilateral Development Banks’ integrity standards and how these are implemented in projects and operations.

Topics to be discussed during the Tunis conference are also related to how implementation of integrity standards should consider current market realities with emphasis on practical solutions and their application in investment operations, including governance, integrity due diligence, compliance programs, remedies and sanctions.

Issues on how integrity standards are reflected in anticorruption and antifraud representations and covenants in legal agreements are on the agenda of the conference, which will also provide an opportunity for participants to raise questions, share knowledge and explore ways for harmonization in terms of approach.

Delegates from Asian Development Bank, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, World Bank, International Finance Corporation, Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency, Inter-American Development Bank, Inter-American Investment Corporation, Islamic Development Bank, and European Investment, Bank will participate in the conference.
