11/06/2019 - La Facilité africaine de soutien juridique (ALSF) a tenu la 28e réunion de son Conseil d’administration et la 10e réunion de son Conseil de gouvernance, respectivement les 10 et 11 juin, en marge de l’édition 2019 des Assemblées annuelles de la Banque africaine de développement qui se déroulent cette semaine à Malabo, en Guinée équatoriale. Les membres de ces conseils ont examiné les activités de l’ALSF pour l’année 2018 et ont discuté de l’avenir de l’organisation.

08/05/2019 - The Management Board of the African Legal Support Facility (ALSF) has met to review progress made in 2018 and to assess the implementation of its projects. The Board considered key issues and events, which will be discussed further on the margins of the 2019 Annual Meetings of the African Development Bank Group, scheduled to take place next month in Malabo, Equatorial Guinea.

18/12/2018 - The African Legal Support Facility (ALSF) and KfW Development Bank have signed an agreement to extend a €4 million grant from the Federal Republic of Germany through KfW to the Facility. This assistance builds on a 2016 Memorandum of Understanding between the two institutions under which ALSF was given a grant of €5 million.

16/10/2018 - The African Legal Support Facility (ALSF) has launched a flagship initiative, the “ALSF Academy Project." Under this initiative, the ALSF has developed a three-level capacity building and certification program. This program will be conducted through an interactive online portal, starting with an inception phase consisting of a series of in-person workshops. It is an innovative tool that will efficiently produce, collect and disseminate knowledge, as well as provide tailor-made training solutions for African lawyers and professionals.
