The African Development Bank was represented by Amadou Hott, the Bank’s Vice-President for Power, Energy, Climate and Green Growth.

11/08/2017 - Des experts zambiens ont examiné et approuvé le Cadre d’évaluation des systèmes d’évaluation de l’apprentissage (LASEF) lors d’une réunion que l’Association pour le développement de l’éducation en Afrique (ADEA par l’intermédiaire de son Groupe de travail sur la gestion de l’éducation et l’appui aux politiques (GTGEAP), a organisée les 10 et 11 juillet 2017 à l’Intercontinental Hotel à Lusaka, en partenariat avec le Réseau pour l’évaluation de l’apprentissage en Afrique (NALA), le ministère de l’Enseignement général du pays et le Conseil des examens.

15/06/2017 - The African Development Bank (AfDB) Group and Export Trading Group (ETG) marked a significant milestone on May 30 with the signing of a US$ 100 million loan to finance part of the company’s Agricultural Investment Program (IP) in Africa which will promote employment for youths and women, and adopt an integrated value-chain approach that emphasizes access to regional and global markets.

24/04/2017 - The African Development Bank (AfDB) through the African Financial Markets Initiative (AFMI) launched its AfDB/AFMISM Bloomberg® African Bond Index (ABABI) in February 2015. Calculated by Bloomberg Indices, the composite index is currently comprised of the Bloomberg South Africa, Egypt, Nigeria, Kenya, Botswana and Namibia local currency sovereign indices and have been joined from April this year by Ghana and Zambia.

11/04/2017 - The African Development Bank’s Vice President for Power, Energy, Climate and Green Growth Sector Complex, Amadou Hott, was in Livingstone, Zambia, on 30 and 31 March 2017 attending the 2,400-MW Batoka Gorge Hydro Electric Scheme (BGHES) investors’ conference, where stakeholders discussed progress and financial support to the scheme.
