Description

The Specific objectives are: 1. Improve availability and reliability of water supply to Port Sudan. The package is expected to lower non-revenue water by 5% and increase supplies by 12,500m3/day; 2. Improve flood protection of the water supply sources and transmission network; 3. Improve operational capacity of the RSSWC to manage their network; 4. Reduction in the cost of water supply for the poorest residents; 5. Improved integrated water resource management.

Objectifs

The objective of the project is to improve the availability, reliability, and quality of water supply as well as ensuring sustainability and equity throughout the city of Port Sudan, and to improve sanitation and hygiene practices to ensure improved health of all residents.
