Description

Equity investment in SWICORP Africa Industrialize Fund ("AIF" or "the Fund"), a pan African private equity fund which will invest cross-sector with focus on industrialized and emerging industrial economies. AIF is a 1st time generation fund but already has experience and proven expertise in MENA region (including North Africa) and sectors covered. AIF will execute transactions around 3 pillars:

(i) Manufacturing, Production, <(>&<)> Processing through companies which manufacture, process and produce goods targeting local consumption and;

(ii) Industrial, Infrastructure <(>&<)> Services through companies which provide industrial infrastructure and services to local industries; and

(iii) Human Capital (Healthcare <(>&<)> Education) through companies developing human capital services (private healthcare and education). AIF will invest through growth equity investments to high potential mid-size companies in Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) strategically positioned to become dominant national or regional market leaders with strong protections and exit rights. AIF construction process will take into consideration geographic diversification while creating regional platforms but also their extensive and tested value-addition approach (structuring, growth sales, expansion margin and multiples effect margins).
