Côte d'Ivoire - Energy Sector Gender Profile - 2016

The aim of this Sector Gender Profile (SGP) is to identify where gender issues are important for the development of Côte d’Ivoire's energy sector, and to articulate actions that can be undertaken to strengthen attention to gender in sector policies and programs. Since the Bank is preparing an investment project to provide electricity in the South West and to electrify 252 rural localities, this SGP also seeks to address gender issues as these relate specifically to this project.
