2013-CPIA Questionnaire


The Country Policy and Institutional Assessment (CPIA) of the African Development Bank (AfDB) is a rating system designed to assess the performance of countries’ policy and institutional frameworks in terms of their capacity to ensure the efficient utilization of scarce resources for achieving sustainable and inclusive growth. It is based on the scoring of 18 criteria1 covering different aspects of development such as: economic and public sector management; structural policies; social inclusion and equity. The scores range between 1 (very weak) and 6 (very strong) and are revised every year.
