EOI - Zambia - Design and Implement Plans for the Acceleration of Rural Electrification

The Government of the Republic of Zambia (GRZ) with support from the African Development Bank (AfDB) has developed, “The Zambia Renewable Energy Financing Framework” Programme, co-financed by the Green Climate Fund (GCF), to catalyse private investment for small-scale Renewable Energy (RE) projects. These projects are expected to accelerate the achievement of GRZ’s electricity generation targets and the diversification of its energy mix. This will essentially reduce the country’s reliance on hydro power and improve energy security.
