SPN - Botswana - Review and Development of the National Human Resource Development strategy for Botswana

The services included under this project are as follows:

To review and gain insights on the implementation of the National Human Resource Development Strategy (2009-2022) and to develop a new National Human Resource Development Strategy (2026-2036). The development of Botswana’s human resources is part of transforming the country to a knowledge-based economy and to a high income status in line with Vision 2036 aspirations. The specific objectives are;

1. To conduct an evaluation of the implementation of the NHRDS (2009-2022) and establish achievement of the strategic and life cycle goals
2. To develop a Transformative National Human Resource Development Strategy (2026-2036) and a high level Implementation plan (National Action Plan).
